Welcome to FPOSn
This Blog page titled Fiji and Pacific small islands Oral Surgeons Network (FPOSn) aims to facilitate professional development of the Oral Surgeons and junior surgeons in Pacific Small Island Countries (PICs) graduated with Postgraduate Diploma and Master of Oral Surgery qualifications from Fiji National University since 2014. From 2014 to 2019, these two programmes have produced twenty graduates with PGD-OS and two with MOS across nine Pacific Island countries (PICs). Majority of these trainees were selected by the Ministry of Health in their respective countries. There is evidence that these graduates have started to practice and helped to improve the standard of oral surgical care services in their respective home countries. In addition, some PICs have annual visitations by Oral Maxillofacial surgeons who provide services in country and are ably assisted by the graduates.
