FPOSn graduates in Pacific Small Island Countries  (PICs).

Current workforce of dental officers having postgraduate training in Oral Surgery in PICs.


By the end of 2019, PGD-OS programme has trained twenty and the MOS programme  has trained two hospital based dental officers from nine countries in PIC region.

        Web site vs Blog site:   A web site is somewhat static and from the PIC region it is not possible to purchase a domain (www) easily. Blog sites (Blogspot.com and Wordpress.com) are freely available and can be used to have static or dynamic ‘webpages’. Wordpress has limitations in the free version. Blogger (Blogspot.com) has more features in the free version. A ‘Blogs site’ can have multiple ‘Blog Pages’ which are listed in the ‘homepage’. Blog Pages are created by the Admin of the site. Each Page can have posts which can be created by permitted viewers. All viewers can also add comments to the posts in pages. Blog Site >> Pages >> Posts >> Comments. FPOSn (Fiji and Pacific Oral Surgeons Network) registered on Blogger.com was mainly created to improve the knowledge of PGDOS and MOS graduates in PICs.
